What is the difference between Plymouth Furniture & Bedding Showrooms and Plymouth Furniture Clearance?

Plymouth Furniture and Bedding Showrooms is the first room you walk into inside of our building. You will see numerous examples of furniture on the floor but keep in mind that most of this furniture has many special order options as well. The options could include different fabrics, different cushion firmness, power or manual recliners, power headrests, and different wood colors. Some products can be sold right off the floor but most people special order their furniture. The delivery is done by our own skilled delivery people starting at $60 for one piece or a truckload of furniture. Plymouth Furniture Clearance is not able to special order anything -- what you see is what they have. Great prices, but often what you see on the floor is the last piece like that available. Everything in Plymouth Furniture Clearance is sold "As Is" and must be picked up or you can schedule a delivery within 6 days of purchase. Returns or exchanges are not allowed in Plymouth Furniture Clearance. Financing is available in both stores but in Plymouth Furniture Clearance the maximum amount of months with 0% interest is 6 months. In Plymouth Furniture & Bedding Showrooms you can get up to 48 months 0% interest financing on Tempur-Pedic Mattresses.

What is the best way to shop at Plymouth Furniture?

All methods are good but the "in store" experience, with the product right in front of you, with our professional staff assisting you, is always the best.

What is difference between King size and California King size beds?

California King size is 4 inches longer and 4 inches narrower than King size.

What type of guarantee comes with the product?

The furniture sold in Plymouth Furniture & Bedding Showrooms has a one year warranty at minumum to cover manufacturer defects. Each manufacturer has different warranties and you should talk to a sales associate about the piece of furniture you are interested in to find out what the specific warranty is. Plymouth Furniture also offers optional insurance plans for your furniture called Product Protection from Safeware. In Plymouth Furniture Clearance everything is sold "As Is" and is sold with no warranty.

Can I get my new product installed?

Professional delivery is available for every product we sell. Plymouth Furniture would be happy to coordinate delivery for you. Almost everything sold in Plymouth Furniture and Bedding Showrooms is assembled when delivered with the exception of Bunk Beds. In Plymouth Furniture Clearance the delivery is done by a third party and the furniture is delivered to the room you would like it in but set-up/installation is not included in the price.

How do your prices compare to the home center and other large regional and national chains?

Can I buy an extra table leaf?

At the time of purchasing your dining table our Amish table manufacturers offer some of their tables with your choice of how many leaves you want. All table leaves are cut when the table is made; therefore additional leaves are not available after original purchase is made.

How do I touch up my furniture?

Most home improvement stores offer touch-up solutions in marker and some in crayon forms. All are easy to apply, simply match your wood furniture finish to the touch-up color, and follow the manufacturer's instructions.

Do you offer replacement parts?

For most products, we do offer replacement parts. Click here to submit a request for parts. Most manufacturers will not have replacement parts available beyond 5 years of a product being discontinued.

What do I need to do to finance my mattress or furniture?

Stop into the store and select what you would like to finance. When you finance you must pay sales tax and the delivery charge before the paperwork is submitted to Synchrony financial to check your credit. If Synchrony denies credit and you want to cancel your furniture purchase 100% of the money you put down will be refunded. The first time you finance it must be a purchase of $599 or more. The easiest way to finance your furniture or mattress is to just go to our financing page which will allow you to get pre-approved for financing. Be sure to bring in the print out with your account number to the store!

Do you offer layaway?

We do not offer layaway but if you purchase furniture in Plymouth Furniture & Bedding Showrooms you only need to put a third down and you could make weekly payments while we hold the furniture or put a third down on your special order furniture and when it comes in pay the remaining balance. Special orders depending on the manufacturer can take anywhere from 2 to 12 weeks.

Why is my sofa more firm when it was delivered compared to the sofa in the showroom?

All sofas and upholstered furniture items will have a small "break in" period. The foam, at all levels of quality, will soften as the cushions are broken in. The items on our floor under go a process as soon as they arrive to the display floor to "break them in." After a short period of use, your new furniture will soon have the same comfort of the showroom products.
